This Privacy Policy explains how Astro's Lounge ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit the User-Generated Content Network ("UGC Network") at ugc.astroslounge.com and community-hosted pages published through it.

This policy covers the UGC Network portal, network infrastructure, required notice banners, and baseline hosting services we provide. Individual community projects may collect additional data under their own practices. When a community page collects data beyond what is described here, the project owner is responsible for providing appropriate notice.

2.1 Network and security logs
When you access the UGC Network, we may automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type, and device information
- Pages requested, timestamps, and referring URLs
- Security and abuse-prevention signals (e.g., tamper events on required notice banners)
- Standard Cloudflare or CDN proxy headers when traffic passes through our edge network
2.2 Local storage on your device
Some UGC pages use browser local storage to remember whether you dismissed a required user-content notice banner (for example, after clicking "Got it"). This preference is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us unless otherwise stated by a specific community project.
2.3 Community project data
Hosted community pages may collect information you voluntarily submit — such as form entries, registry data, or API requests — to provide their features. That data is processed to support the community project and may be stored in third-party services (for example, spreadsheets or databases) configured by the project owner.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate, secure, and maintain the UGC Network
- Enforce network policies and investigate abuse or security incidents
- Improve reliability and diagnose technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations

The UGC Network is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
