Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Astro's Lounge User-Generated Content Network ("UGC Network," "we," "us," or "our") at ugc.astroslounge.com and any community-hosted pages published through it.
1. What the UGC Network Is
The UGC Network is a hosting platform operated by Astro's Lounge that allows approved community members to publish independent web pages. These pages are separate from the official Astro's Lounge website and services. Astro's Lounge provides infrastructure, baseline security controls, and network policies — not editorial control over every community project.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the UGC Network or any page hosted on it, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, do not use the UGC Network.
3. Community-Hosted Content
Each hosted site on the UGC Network is maintained by its respective project owner. You understand that:
- Community pages may contain independent opinions, styling, scripts, and third-party integrations.
- Content on a community page does not constitute an official statement by Astro's Lounge unless explicitly labeled as such.
- Project owners are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and maintenance of their hosted content.
- Required user-content notice banners must remain intact; tampering with them may result in page suspension.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the UGC Network to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload, distribute, or link to malware, exploits, or deceptive content.
- Harass, threaten, or dox other users.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with network security controls or notice banners.
- Scrape, overload, or disrupt network infrastructure without authorization.
- Misrepresent affiliation with Astro's Lounge or impersonate staff.
5. Project Owner Responsibilities
If you operate a page on the UGC Network, you agree to:
- Maintain your project in good faith and respond to valid abuse or safety reports.
- Comply with applicable data protection laws for any data your page collects.
- Keep hosted content aligned with Astro's Lounge community standards.
- Accept that Astro's Lounge may suspend or remove pages that violate network policy.
6. Suspension and Removal
We may suspend, restrict, or remove access to any UGC page — with or without notice — if we believe it violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or harms the community. Automated security systems may immediately suspend pages when required notice banners are removed or modified.
7. Disclaimers
THE UGC NETWORK AND COMMUNITY PAGES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ASTRO'S LOUNGE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASTRO'S LOUNGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE UGC NETWORK OR ANY COMMUNITY-HOSTED PAGE.
9. Relationship to Official Services
These Terms apply to the UGC Network only. Use of official Astro's Lounge products, accounts, game servers, and the main website at v3.astroslounge.com is governed by separate policies.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the UGC Network after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
